Episodes 4 Review - Disturbing Behavior


Still in Chicago, Klaus uses Gloria, a witch he knew long ago, to help him track down missing information that will explain why his plan to create more hybrids isn’t working. Gloria’s spells reveal intriguing glimpses of the truth. While the locket that they are searching for burns Elena and gives off a on old vibe that Bonnie can sense. But Gloria soon realizes she needs Stefan’s knowledge to complete the puzzle.

Jeremy helps Bonnie out by looking for information on the locket. Jeremy sees Anna, who tells him that the darkness or evil is coming. The books that he and Bonnie were looking through burst into flames. Bonnie stops it. Jeremy confronts Anna and tells her that he can’t keep with this ghost problems. Anna tells him that it is his fault. When he thinks of her she is able to come through and appear. Jeremy makes a brief but disturbing breakthrough with one of his ghostly visitors, leaving him more confused than ever. He then tells Bonnie what is going on with him.

Stefan suddenly finds himself in danger, due to Gloria wanting the information he has. Gloria tortures him and straps him down to perform a ritual to get all his information from Stefan forcefully. Gloria finds out that Elena is alive and that she has the locket. Yet help comes from a surprising ally, Katharine.

Back in Mystic Falls, a frustrating new enemy (Caroline’s Father Bill Forbes who is able to break being compelled) pushes Damon over the brink and he lashes out in a way that will have lasting consequences. Caroline struggles with her own emotional issues, even as she tries to help Elena face her feelings. Finally, Bonnie has a strange encounter that will affect everyone. The encounter being Katharine posing as Elena again to take the locket and appearing to Damon. Tempting him to leave with her.
