Episode 4 - "Defending Your Life"
While investigating a series of murders, Dean and Sam learn that the Egyptian god Osiris is responsible for the killings. A god with nothing but revenge on his mind, Osiris is putting random people on trial for any mistakes they've made in the past and then promptly killing them if they're found guilty.
Upon sensing Dean's guilt, Osiris puts him on trial with Sam becoming Dean's lawyer. But both Sam and Dean are stunned when Osiris calls a witness, someone they thought they'd never see again: Jo Harvelle.
As Dean awaits his twenty four hours before his death. Sam searches for a way to free his brother. With the help of Bobby they find that they can postpone the death for a few centuries by killing Osiris with a ram horn. Meanwhile Dean is tormented by the spirit of Jo, who is being controlled by Osiris to carry out his death. Luckily, with seconds to spare, Sam finds Osiris and kills him. Freeing not only Dean but Jo as well.
