The Horror Spot News: The Raven Trailer
Today is the anniversary of Edgar Allen Poe’s death in 1849. The noted author passed away in a hospital bed several days after he’d been found wandering the streets, delirious and with no memory of how he’d landed in such a state. The circumstances leading to Poe’s death continue to be one of history’s bigger mysteries, one that director James McTeigue will explore in his upcoming thriller The Raven, starring John Cusack.
The movie, which opens March 9, also stars Luke Evans, Alice Eve and Brendan Gleeson.Today brings us our first look at the movie, thanks to a new trailer, released to commemorate the great author’s death.
