Best Female Actress of the Year

Female Actress of the year would usually be more of a competitive award, much harder to give out in other years. This year, it really just focuses on a couple of women who put all they had into their role. No, Meryl Streep will not be mentioned at all. In fact, if you've been paying attention at all to The Movie Spot, you probably could have predicted the outcome of this award.

On with it!:

Robert Acosta:

Winner: Natalie Portman
Runner ups: Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams, Mila Kunis

Jose Diaz:

Winner: Anne Hathaway
Runner ups: Mila Kunis

Very easy to call. We've talked about the roles that Portman played in Black Swan and Hathaway played in Love and Other Drugs so much that this became unanimous. Check back tomorrow for Male actor of the year, which will be more competitive and lead to more discussion then this award did.
