Male Actor of the Year...is...

Usually when you talk about male actor of the year, you talk about a strong performance, typically in a dramatic role. Very George Clooney-esque. Maybe it'll be like that with our awards, maybe not. I'll take the latter.

Here we are with the male actor of the year:

Robert Acosta:

Winner: Mark Wahlberg
Runner ups: Robert Downey Jr., Jake Gyllenhall

Jose Diaz:

Winner: Jesse Eisenberg
Runner ups: Leonardo DiCaprio

Lots of good names thrown into the mix for this award but it ultimately came down to how much impact the winner had on hollywood this year. Wahlberg had two very good, commercially successful films out this year in The Other Guys and The Fighter. It would be foolish for me not to pick him based on public opinion. As for Eisenberg, he really stepped out of his comfort zone in The Social Network, showing a whole new element to his acting ability. Would not be surprised if he leaves with something to show for it at the Oscars. Tomorrow, Story of the year(No, not the band.)
