Talk about your surprise movie of the year, I mean this came completely out of left field. Never would have crossed my mind to watch it, but hey, a free movie is a free movie right? Best bargain ever.
Great performances from Gyllenhall and Hathaway, providing the exact blend of comedy and romance that is needed. A romantic comedy that is very reminiscent of the better Rom-Coms in history, the When Harry Met Sally type. Rom-Coms in this day and age are just so cheesy and are not nearly as good as in the 80s and 90s. At least we get to see one do very well.
Go watch the film, you'll see exactly why Love and Other Drugs is the #5 movie of 2010.
