Aronofsky in talks with Fox to direct Wolverine sequel

According to Deadline, "it's his job if he wants it" and Fox, Hugh Jackman and Darren Aronofsky are in serious talks to make it happen. This news comes after Aronofsky's name has been bounced between Superman and Preacher. And Since Zack Synder got the director role for Superman, it leaves Darren to go for Wolverine 2 if he wants.
