Cloverfield “Trick Or Treat” Review

Cloverfield “Trick Or Treat” Review

By Jose

Plot:

Revolves around a monster attack in New York as told from the point of view of a small group of people.

Review:

The big, city destroyer, monster genre has been forever in the grasp of the Japanese. Just look at there baby Godzilla and all his movies and also Gamera and all his movies. No one did these movies better then they have. But along comes Cloverfield that changed the playing field. Regardless of all the attempts and movies involving big beasts and monsters that America has made and the failed attempt of recreating Godzilla for ourselves. They all failed. But Cloverfield changed all that. Mixing the human POV element, the survival aspect, along with a mysterious and briefly seen in full monster rampaging and destroying the city, Cloverfield delivered what we have been waiting for. Our own Godzilla that worked and worked well.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5
