The Small Screen: Game OF Thrones Season Two Trailer
HBO has premiered a new trailer for the second season of Game of Thrones, the first to provide us with a look at footage from the adaptation of A Clash of Kings, the second novel in George R.R. Martin’s fantasy epic.
While the promotion for Season 1 warned “Winter Is Coming,” the phrase now is “The Cold Winds Are Rising,” words hammered home by the icy narration of Stephen Dalline as Stannis Baratheon, who seeks to lay claim to the Iron Throne that once belonged to his brother Robert but is now occupied by King Joffrey.
Game of Thrones returns in April.
