A franchise in dying need of a reboot, just seeking redemption, trying to find its way back from the hell that the Rat (Brett Ratner) put them in. X-Men First Class was essential to Marvel having a good year but more important, for the future of the X-men movie franchise, this needed to be good. And it delivered in most ways. The timeline is a little off, both in X-men movie timeline and in comic book timeline but I, and almost everyone else, can put that aside because the movie was great. A good amount of action, story, great amount of characters and character development and future set up for more great movies. I personally couldn't ask more from this movie.
