Review: You may be thinking to yourself: "How can a serious review be done for a movie like Winnie the Pooh?" Well my answer is, it can't be done. Or it shouldn't be done cause this movie doesn't take itself serious in any which way.

I'm going to come out with it right now and tell you, the reader, I am going to give this movie a perfect score, a 5 out of 5. You may love me for that, you may hate me but I can justify every rating I give and I will do the same for this classic movie.

Most of our memories of Winnie the Pooh come from the TV shows, the publications, the iconic figure that Winnie the Pooh is and the fact that he is part of the famous Disney clan. Now other entities/cartoons with such rich history as Winnie the Pooh make their big screen debuts without keeping in mind the legacy of the cartoon, the real integrity of the cartoon. I'm here to say that Winnie the Pooh has remembered you. Yes, you! You, the fan of the show, a fan of everything Winnie the Pooh. The formula hasn't changed. There is no CGI bear running around. He's not in Times Square. There's no 3D gimmick. It's Winnie the Pooh, the way it was meant to be seen.

I have no problem saying that watching this movie was one of the best experiences I've had as an adult. The idea of life is to try and keep yourself young at heart, even as you grow old and even in my early adult ages, I could feel that this movie is meant exactly for that. Keeping your youthfulness. At the same time, it's the perfect kids movie too. The movie is about 70 minutes long, just a tad bit over an hour. It doesn't stretch out for too long, short, sweet and to the point. So looking at it in a kids perspective, it keeps their attention and doesn't have them bored out of their mind.

It's classic Winnie the Pooh. Some funny remarks, very silly scenes, a nice soundtrack led by the beautiful Zooey Deschanel. Young and old are going to have a great time with this film, especially when you've got such serious, dramatic movies out there. It's nice to take a break from those melodramatic movies.

The rest of the cartoon world should be taking notes right now cause Winnie the Pooh just blew everyone else out of the water.

Rating: 5 out of 5
