Weekend Box Office Numbers April 8th-10th

3. Hanna   $12.3 Million
4. Soul Surfer   $11.6 Million
5. Insidious   $9.7 Million
6. Your Highness   $9.5 Million
7. Source Code   $9.1 Million
8. Limitless   $5.7 Million
9. Diary of a Wimpy Kid   $4.9 Million
10. The Lincoln Lawyer   $4.6 Million

So for a 2nd straight week, Hop takes the top spot. A bit surprising, but not fully. Kids have a huge pull in Hollywood, at least in terms of where the money goes.

I expected a higher showing from Your Hignness and Source Code(2 movies I checked out this weekend) because the advertisement they got. It's hard to compete with simplistic, for lack of a better word, movies or movies that aren't rated R.

Next week Scream 4 and Rio make their debut on the big screen, with my prediction of Scream 4 to take the top spot.
