The Spot News: Joseph Gordon-Levitt"s Role In Dark Knight Rises
So we have some news going around from Variety to now Entertainment Weekly of the role that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play in Nolan's third Batman film. First Variety reported that he snagged the role of the vengeful son of mobster Carmine Falcone, Alberto Falcone, a.k.a., Holiday or the Holiday Killer (from the acclaimed Batman comic storyline "The Long Halloween").
Now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that it is false and his role has not been revealed or even locked down yet.
Now we must go back to the rumor mill. Previous rumors had Gordon-Levitt connected to The Riddler, Black Mask, Deadshot, Robin/Dick Grayson, Jean-Paul Valley (Azrael ), to the very popular and controversial rumor of taking on The Joker role.
