Supernatural - Small Screen Review
Supernatural - Small Screen Review
Episode 11 - "Adventures in Babysitting"
While Dean goes after Dick Roman, Sam tries to help a girl whose father, a hunter, disappeared while investigating a truck stop.
Not much goes on in this episode, which is alright considering how the last episode ended with the death of Bobby. Dean is hell-bent on finding out what those numbers mean while Sam wants to do something else to keep them from going crazy. So Sam runs off to help the teen girl looking for her hunter father. Finding out that a vetala creature or as we find out two vetala creatures are responsible for the deaths and disappearances. Sam gets caught himself and Dean has to find the girl and then look for Sam and her father. Which he does with help from the girl. Killing the vetalas and saving the guys.
But Before that Dean was with Frank we find out that the numbers were part of a location, a field to be exact, that Dick bought. They find out that they are going to build something. What exactly they don’t know. Frank also reveals the reason why he is the way he is. Revealing that his wife and kids were butchered, and now to avoid going crazy and killing himself he "Decide to be fine until the end of the week; make yourself smile because you're alive and that's your job... Then do it again the next week".
Also the fate of Bobby was not addressed. Now yes we ended with him dying but did he decide to be a ghost or pass on? We never saw anything relating to cremation or burials either. Or Sam and Dean never mentioned anything to that affect. So either they will address this soon or they are leaving it open for Bobby to return. Also who drank Dean’s beer? Castiel? Bobby?
