With Thanksgiving comes the day after sales, aptly called Black Friday. So this edition of the DVD release post will feature some Black Friday deals that I know of, just for you.
But first, we start with the DVD releases for this week:
NOTE: Bold means DVD is also available in Blu-Ray
- The Expendables
- Eat Pray Love
- I'm Still Here
- Flipped
- Countdown to Zero
- Madea Goes to Jail (Only On Blu-Ray)
- Diary of a Mad Black Woman (Only on Blu-Ray)
- Beauty and The Beast (2 Disc, limited time only)
- 7th Heaven (Series)
- Batman Beyond (Complete Series; Limited Edition)
- The Tudors (series)
So there is a lot to grab this week. The Expendables is a great pick up if you're looking for an entertaining, action film to watch. Even with the whole family, it works.
I'm Still Here is an extremely weird movie. Because it's real? Because it's fake? It's hard to tell. I've heard it has it moments, I hear Joaquin Phoenix puts in a performance of a lifetime. I also hear it's just shit. So you really roll the dice on this DVD.
Let's talk about the Black Friday sales.
Best Buy will have The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Blu-Ray for $10 as well as having the 2010 version of Predators Blu-Ray and DVD for the same price. Saving Private Ryan will also be $10 on Blu-Ray. Lastly at Best Buy, all Smallville DVDs are $10. From Season 1-9, all $10 each. That's all I have for now, but as details come out in the next day or so, you'll know everything you need to know for this Friday.
