Last week we saw a historic opening weekend for Jackass 3D. What would this week bring us in the box office? Almost another historic weekend opening, that's what! Here is this past weekends box office numbers:
- Paranormal Activity 2 $41.5 Million
- Jackass 3D $21.6 Million
- Red $15 Million
- Hereafter $12 Million
- The Social Network $7.3 Million
- Secretariat $6.9 Million
- Life as We Know It $6.2 Million
- Legend of the Guardian: Owls of Ga'hoole $3.2 Million
- The Town $2.7 Million
- Easy A $1.8 Million
Can't say I was surprised to see Paranormal Activity 2 at the top this weekend. Lots of hype and buzz surrounded it so people were going to rush out and see it.
Jackass 3D follows up its historic weekend with another solid weekend. Jackass 4 in the making thanks to these two weekends of success? More than likely.
Next week we see Saw 3D come to the big screen and I can almost guarantee it'll take the top spot. Paranormal Activity 2 could sneak up on Saw and take the top spot but I'm putting my money on Saw.
