Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth in talks to join Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
Whitworth plays a "criminal who is recruited by the devil and is later turned into a demonic creature." If this is all true the demonic creature might end up being someone Ghost Rider fans will recognize. After the devil (who in the film is called "Roark" in his human form) turns his powers on Whitworth's character, Ray Carrigan, he turns him into Blackout . In the comics his ability was like a vampire, or more like a walking black hole, able to suck the lifeforce and light out of humans with a mere touch.Elba plays an alcoholic warrior monk tasked with finding Ghost Rider.
