- Dinner for Schmucks
- The Last Exorcism
- Catfish

- Once Upon a Time in Mexico(Available in Blu-Ray only)
- Rocky and Bullwinkle Complete Collection
This week isn't exactly a buyfest the way the other weeks of January will be for DVDs but there is certainly a butt load of renters!
I would really only consider Machete being a buy this week but if you don't have a certain type of comedy, it'll be hard to enjoy Machete. Though, if you wanna see some funny, gory kills, then this could also be the movie for you too.
Dinner for Schmucks is a toss up for me. It looks kind of funny, but at the same time, very stupid. Paul Rudd is one of very few hilarious actors in Hollywood so it would be hard to pass on this movie. In the same boat is The Last Exorcism. It looks intense and creepy, exactly what a present day horror film should be. But then again, something tells me that the horror only comes in small pieces, just a couple scenes maybe.
Finally, i'd like to bring up Catfish. It's a movie that is definitely worth a rent, solely by looking at the trailer. It looks like a tremendous mystery that by looking at that trailer, is almost impossible to solve. I've read about the twist of the movie and it's not nearly as exciting as I imagined but from what i've heard from people who've seen the movie, watching the twist play out is better than reading what happens.
