Marvel Sees Iron Man 3 As A Sequel To Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers

Jon Favreau recently spoke to MTV while doing interviews for his upcoming Cowboys and Aliens movie about the plans for Iron Man 3. Jon said:
"Kevin Feige, who's been involved with Marvel since the X-MEN films, is very aware of his path and how to weave the things. So in theory, IRON MAN 3 is going to be a sequel or continuation of THOR, HULK, CAPTAIN AMERICA, and AVENGERS. So that whole world... I have no idea what it is. I don't think they do either, from conversations I've had with those guys."
Well it is nice of Marvel to try and create a single movie universe for all there movies. But I do hope that while doing that they don't screw up the potential for these movies, under that unified umbrella, to do great separately with just some nods and cameos to the other films. We can only wait and see what they do with Thor and Captain American coming next year.
